Jodi Scholes specializes in working with high level and professional athletes. Her areas of expertise include football, futbol (soccer), track/running, triathlon and mixed martial arts. Some of her current clients are professional runners, Olympic athletes, Kona qualifiers as well as talented age groupers.

Ms Scholes enjoys working with NFL players. In Fall 2008 she was requested to work with the Arizona Cardinals doing massage for several players such as Jerheme Urban and Larry Fitzgerald. In past seasons she worked with some bigger bodies such as Delbert Cowsette, Renaldo Wynn and Ifeanyi Ohalete and others.

Jodi worked the 2004 and 2008 US Olympic Trials of Track & Field. She has also done massage at two USATF World Championship meets in Helsinki Finland(‘05) and Osaka Japan(’07). She freed up more of her time to travel after being the owner (14 years) of the Northern VA Massage Center, which she sold in March 2008.

From 1996-2004 Jodi was the official massage therapist of DC United, Major League Soccer and accompanied the team on road trips, including the MLS Cup Championships in 1996, 1997, 1999 and 2004 when DC United won Major League Soccer Championship for the fourth time.

A massage therapist since 1994, Jodi has performed approximately 7000 hours of massage therapy. She has focused her continuing education on sports massage with a keen interest in biomechanics and understanding repetitive use injuries. She is accepting new clients and it is her intention to work with professional athletes and elite age groupers to help maximize their performances.
