high
level
and
professional
athletes.
Her
areas
of
expertise
include
football,
futbol
(soccer),
track/running,
triathlon
and
mixed
martial
arts.
Some
of
her
current
clients
are
professional
runners,
Olympic
athletes,
Kona
qualifiers
as
well
as
talented
age
groupers.
Ms
Scholes
enjoys
working
with
NFL
players.
In
Fall
2008
she
was
requested
to
work
with
the
Arizona
Cardinals
doing
massage
for
several
players
such
as
Jerheme
Urban
and
Larry
Fitzgerald.
In
past
seasons
she
worked
with
some
bigger
bodies
such
as
Delbert
Cowsette,
Renaldo
Wynn
and
Ifeanyi
Ohalete
and
others.
Jodi
worked
the
2004
and
2008
US
Olympic
Trials
of
Track
&
Field.
She
has
also
done
massage
at
two
USATF
World
Championship
meets
in
Helsinki
Finland(‘05)
and
Osaka
Japan(’07).
She
freed
up
more
of
her
time
to
travel
after
being
the
owner
(14
years)
of
the
Northern
VA
Massage
Center,
which
she
sold
in
March
2008.
From
1996-2004
Jodi was
the
official
massage
therapist
of DC
United,
Major
League
Soccer
and
accompanied
the team
on road
trips,
including
the MLS
Cup
Championships
in 1996,
1997,
1999 and
2004
when DC
United
won
Major
League
Soccer
Championship
for the
fourth
time.
A
massage
therapist
since
1994,
Jodi has
performed
approximately
7000
hours of
massage
therapy.
She has
focused
her
continuing
education
on
sports
massage
with a
keen
interest
in
biomechanics
and
understanding
repetitive
use
injuries.
She is
accepting
new
clients
and it
is her
intention
to work
with
professional
athletes
and
elite
age
groupers
to help
maximize
their
performances.
